Web 2.0

This blog was developed to function as a journal for the class I am taking EME6414 Web 2.0-Based Learning and Performance.

In this first post, I would like to share a robust resource provided by the Online Learning Consortium: The Technology Test Kitchen.

I went to OLC Conference in 2014 when I first saw the Technology Test Kitchen. They were collecting and compiling recipes from all members, conference attendees, and educators involved in online instructional and instructional technology in order to share and make a recipe book for anyone to take to their own classroom or teaching settings.

I don’t think they have published a recipe book in 2016 yet. But here is the link for the 2014 and 2015 editions.

While not every tool in this book is a Web 2.0 or Social Media Tool, a lot of them are, and a lot of them are free.

I hope you find this recipe book useful.
